I have just been in the newly re-opened fish and chip shop in Westmorland Road, The Small Fry. They are excellent; the batter is first class and I do like the crinkle cut chips. Small Fry big taste
This shop has just opened up under new management , my only complaint is the clock on the wall was slow so they were just opening when I thought they should be open by now , anyhows I was first customer of the day , I ordered fish and chips and a carton of peas wrapped to take home and enjoy , enjoy I certainly did and left a nice clean plate in the process , they have a website too , my verdict is I am not sure so I think I will have to go back and get another portion

me and the mrs just sampled some of your food and got to say its the nicest fish and chips around these parts  :yes:. well worth the drive from middlesbrough.
i got cod and chips wasnt a long bit of fish but my god was it thick and cooked to perfection the chips were spot on to and lovin the crinckle cut makes a change to boring straight ones got half way through and started feeling full but maned it out till the end iv now ate to much and cant move  :laugh: but it was far to nice to waste any.
the mrs had a fish patty and chips and she was more than impressed said that to was cooked to perfection and realy tastey
would recomend it to any 1 and will defo be going back.
the shop was realy clean and the staff were friendly and happy so a big 2 thumbs up to them

Very impressed with the fish and the batter. However the chips were 'white' not a lover of that, or crinkly ones.. each to his own though.
Will use it again, even though it's the other side of the racecourse.
